So on Sunday I picked up the new Bionicle Tahu and Kopaka figures. I was honestly expecting them to just be Hero Factory figure rehashes with Bionicle names...and they're not. Bionicle is back and it's had quite a bit of life put into it including the return of the gear gimmick which works very nicely without giving the Toa limp shoulders. The bodies fill out very nicely and do not look as skeletal as the Hero Factory sets did. I picked up Gali today and despite having the same build she manages to look slender and feminine like she should among her brothers. All in all I'm excited about this revival and I hope to see Lewa Onua and Pohatu soon enough!
